There are indications that might inform them of the situation the reason, such as not being able to view the date when the person blocking them was last online.
If a user is blocked by the application, they are not specifically notified. There are a variety of options to alter the photo, for example, changing the size, or drawing on it. Click the paperclip icon, and choose the image you want to save from your phone or click the camera icon to create a new image.
